The Celeste fig, or Ficus carica, bears small fruit from early June to early Mid August. Like the fruit, the tree is also small (10-15 feet) if left unpruned. Great in hot, humid climates. Mature plants can withstand temperatures to zero degrees. If temperatures reach below zero, they will die back to the ground but will rebound in the spring.
