About Us
Wellspring Gardens Academy was founded in 2004 by Donovan K. and Dana Baltich, homeschool parents who learned firsthand that every child learns differently. After homeschooling their own children—including a son who was famously "expelled from homeschool" and sent to public school—they gained a unique perspective on what helps students succeed.
Today, their children, Donovan C. and Kirsten, lead the academy, continuing the family tradition of personalized education, curiosity, and academic excellence. Having experienced homeschooling from every angle, we're passionate about helping homeschool families find the right path for every learner.
